Day 3 city of Zamora, Spain

On Wednesday we spent the morning in Spanish classes in Colegio Delibes and after lunch we went to the city of Zamora where we had a guided walking tour and listened to stories about the legend of "El Cid", the battles between the Kingdoms of Castilla and León. We heard all about the history of the various historical monuments. There were plenty of opportunities for "Instagrammable moments". As it was our last night, upon our return to Salamanca, we went out to dinner in a typical Spanish restaurant where we were able to order all of their food in Spanish. On our way home we saw the Plaza Mayor in all its splendour lit up at night.
