MUN (Model United Nations)

MUN- 24th of November

This week in MUN we introduced the girls into resolution writing in preparation for our online conference with Wesley School, Which we are very excited for. Some of the girls are new delegates including first years, this will be their first MUN conference. We are very lucky to have an online conference as most schools don’t get the opportunity.  

In club, we had a resolution writing crash course.  We discussed step by step how to write a preamble and the operative clauses. We were helped by some of the sixth years who came into the club to help out.  

Topics for the upcoming conference are yet to be decided so we did some brainstorming to get an idea of the overall interest of the club. The topics on which we will decide is what the resolution will be based on. 

Overall, it was a very productive meeting and we had a great time as always. Next week unfortunately we don’t have a meeting due to house exams but the week after we are back.
