Spanish adventures in Salamanca Day 2

We had our first day of classes in Colegio Delibes followed by a picnic in the plaza outside the school. After lunch, we went on a guided walking tour of the city of Salamanca where we saw the Cathedrals, the oldest University in Spain, The House of Shells, the former Palace which is now the city library and el Huerto de Calixto y Melibea. We finished our tour in the main square, La Plaza Mayor, where we were given free time to shop and sample some crepes and churros con chocolate! It was Pancake Tuesday after all!
