The 2020 Wesley Interschools Music Festival
On Friday 6th March, the Senior Choir and Chamber Choir competed in the 2020 Wesley Interschools Music Festival.
Our Senior Choir sang Gjeilo "Ubi Caritas" and Chamber Choir sang Sarah Colgan's "This Marriage". Sarah Colgan is a 5th Year student and arranged the song herself.
Our choirs continue rehearsals online during the school closure which helps routine and to keep everyone's spirit up.
In the individual competitions:
- Juliette Pierce placed 3rd / 1st class honours in the Under 16’s solo singing competition.
- Alannah Pierce & Juliette Pierce placed 3rd / 1st Class honours in the Vocal Duet Under 15 competition
- Arabella Dolan placed 1st Under 14 vocal solo competition
- Heather Cunney & Eithne Cunney placed 2nd in the Vocal Duet Over 15 competition
