World Book Day 2023

The students took part in an assembly  to celebrate  World Book Day on March 2nd. Students  presented on the importance and joy of reading. There was a book quiz followed by lots of goodies. Later on, 'Blind Date with a Book' took place in the library. Each student chose a book based on the appeal of its decorative wrapping. As each student unwrapped their chosen book, the joy on their face was something to treasure, especially as the book seemed to match the student's interest perfectly.  Students won prizes for book decoration, and many received spot prizes.  We are already planning next year's special day. Book club takes place on Wednesdays at 11. All are welcome!
